For the second time, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) has voted no to a tentative deal with the B.C. Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA).

Crazy. It seems like they have some so close to finalizing a deal so many times. I’m not sure that playing this game of chicken is going to help their long term goals here. At some point they will be legislated back to work, and their bargaining position will be weakened as a result.
