    For years my biggest wish for this show was to have them de-power Homelander and have them explore his character in that state. I was really hoping that was how season 3 would end. It could have been so so interesting to see how he developed, but alas. Just 30 seconds and “I’ll suck your dick” was all we got.

    So, he cannot walk out of that room alive, but we can spend time with him powerless to really reveal what everyone’s been saying all season, which is, ‘Take away those powers and you are nothing.’

    And he’s so cowardly and blubbering and pathetic, as are most strong men when you remove their power and they’re and they’re faced with their imminent death, they rarely handle it bravely.

    For context, the show apparently ends with Homelander (main villain superhero) de-powered and offering to give oral sex to his victor in exchange for his life. I haven’t read the comics or watched any o the show (thank God) but it seems just dumb and crude to me. Writer sure likes his “sexual abuse humour.”

      Honestly, I was kind of hoping that taking the V1 shot was going to end up fucking up his powers, along with some hilariously useless side effects.

      Like he thought he was going to become a God…but instead he wound up with the ability to become 2 dimensional, as long as he held his breath.

        Run toward someone at full speed, then hold your breath right before hitting. Slice.

        Also great for avoiding bullets. Very difficult to hit a 2-dimensional target from the side. (Though, not impossible.)

            Yep, if strictly 2D, he would not exist in one of the axis.

            Supposing he was laying perfectly on his side, would he be unaffected by Earth’s gravity and float? But then a minor breeze and he slams to the ground…

              He couldn’t float, because that’s space. He could slide up and over everything. He’d see all the buildings in city as a map of unfolded cardboard boxes. Neato. Makes a good superhero. Two Dimensional Dan.

    Absolute garbage ending from, what I thought was a good recovery from the absolute garbage last season.

    They pulled off 1.5 seasons of decent content, the rest was terrible. Their opinion doesn’t matter, even when shitting on morning magaz.

    Can we not make memes about every shitty x post?
