    Here’s the key:

At issue are zoning regulations. [Rick] Weston wants to transform the home from a seasonal camp to a year-round residence, but Huntington prohibits that kind of conversion in woodland and conservation districts. But across the town line in Bolton, the conversion is allowed.

I can’t help but to think this is a waste of resources thanks to the government. It’s 12 fucking feet, just let him have it.

It’s not like he’s already had his home there on 12 feet and they’re making him move. He specifically built a camp house for business. Now he wants to live there. The building is in one town. 12 feet over is the border of the next town, so he’s moving it.

I understand that. It changes nothing that I said. Other than technicalities, what is the difference that 12 feet makes here?

It’s a boundary line. I understand that it would be easier to change it for him, but they have that zoning law for a reason.
