    When people say they want original movies and then don’t go see them, this is why Hollywood continues to remake the same stuff.

    I will say that the marketing of this one hasn’t been very good. The title doesn’t do it any favors.

      I honestly thought it was a straight to streaming movie, had no idea it was in the cinema.

      The marketing has been awful.

      These films mostly underperform because they’re a new IP, so they deem it risky and don’t advertise as heavily in case it bombs, but then no one knows of it, so it bombs. Self fulfilling prophecy.

    I’ve just looked at my local cinema, it’s only showing at the moment midday till Thursday. How is anyone meant to see that!

    I’ve not heard about this movie at all in any way other than a single post on Mastodon and later review from AngryJoeShow. Considering I’m a movie normie who likes sci-fi, someone didn’t generate enough buzz around it to make us notice it…
