This goes back to what I was saying ironically. The issue you are saying here is still a failure of society. Obviously someone killing a minority because they are a minority is not a act of self defense.

There are already thousands and more dying by the second with the current system. There is already a mass causality event and it will continue to get worse as the current system makes the world less and less inhabitable.

And we don’t have to have a “local warlord” the idea that people can put something better in place then fascism is ironically a right wing talking point. Though I blame the propaganda that has caused us to view our fellow as a enemy instead a comrade. But that’s a whole other point.

The fault is society for allowing the situation to get to that point. Desperate people do desperate things. Its foolish and cruel to look down on your pedestal and declare life is black and white and a person who takes a life never has a reason.

There are times when it is horrible but not acknowledging the complexity is exactly how you get people who look the other way when the killing is obscure in a system of policies. Say how we kill thousands a year through poverty or homelessness. Those deaths are not seen as horrible because it’s slow and painful, instead of quick and painful. Maybe you will come back and say you don’t feel this way but such quick snap judgment without analysis is exactly how we get here.

If you acknowledge that you have to do more then vote and America is not a democracy. It means you have wasted you time and your life on people who literally cannot care about you with the way the system is.

Well normally something to do with my body and keeping it functioned with this undiagnosed thing I have. Lately it’s been what sleep tools and bed to chair rotation must I do to keep my joints from being in pain while giving me enough spoons.

Yes I believe to support a people you have to side with the defenders against the genocidal colonist ethnic cleansing. As someone said, If Hamas was wiped out and Israel killed my entire family and I was the sole survivor I would probably make “Hamas” 2.

Though of course this framing ignores the complexity that had existed among the different groups fighting for their lives again Israel who you know, uses dogs to rape prisoners, have sniper shot children in the head, and have rigged food cans to explode. Sadly though I’m not sure how many different groups exist anymore cause communication has been limited… You know because of the horrible devastation to the point we are not sure if some level of nuclear weapon has been used. Regardless of what has been used it has been hot enough to obliterate the bones of people in the center of the blasts.

You’ll have to look elsewhere for someone to baulk at a question like that. I’ve been paying attention and reposting news on Palestine since it started. It’s only the last few months because of my surgery I haven’t been able to keep up as much. But from today it seems they are entering a new cycle of settlers taking over the land that was cleared.

The question isn’t do you support Hamas. It SHOULD be do you support Israel? If Israel wasn’t doing a genocide there would be no Hamas.
