Cats eyes see motion much better than still things. In a car, everything is moving. Brain overload?

Debian or Gnome seem to have some kind of semi usable search in the gui. It can find files in multiple places by name, wildcard etc but I’m not sure what it can see. Everything is great on Win.

4·12 days agoOne step ahead - installed Syncthing on an always-on Windows box located at my office, pointed it at some needed Google Drive folders, and synced to Debian. The Windows box has other syncing tasks anyway so it’s not costing anything in power. The Debian laptop is becoming my main workhorse.
rclone is too much of a PITA to configure. insync is way too expensive, especially with multiple Google Drive accounts. Gnome’s sync thinggie does weird stuff with filenames in LibreOffice etc, is basically unusable.
I need Google Drive due to my existing business setups.

Maybe I should start one so that Rustdesk / anydesk connections from Debian 12 don’t scroll uncontrollably for a second after I remove my two fingers or edge scroll finger from my track pad.
Trying various things like turning off acceleration, inertia, fiddling with xinput etc, to no avail.
