ie. they’re going to tear it down before midterms.

And we know exactly what home is like for him now.

Sometimes clients have mental health issues. Nothing you can do except try not to take it personally.

usually about $550/month including coffee and soda. I’m one person. I have tried to set a budget but I am really not good at it. I also don’t really believe in the idea of eating less healthy to save money. It seems short-sighted.

It’s hard to argue for austerity in the American context, where the healthcare stipends being stripped away are less than 1% of the military’s budget. It’s not actually austerity, it’s just the government taking your taxes and then refusing to do its job.

This is awesome.

I’ve only ever seen people prosecuted where the copyright holder was tracking downloads on specific sites and requested the prosecution. So, the proof would be where you downloaded the media from, not on the media itself.

arrested without a warrant or probable cause. that judge is pissed.

Tl;dr: The court considers whether a lawsuit is likely to succeed to be the most important factor in granting a preliminary injunction. As nothing like this has happened before, there is no directly relevant rule or doctrine the court can apply to determine whether the lawsuit is likely to succeed. Therefore, the court cannot determine the lawsuit is likely to succeed, and a preliminary injunction cannot be granted.

There are a few flecks of rice/onion peel on my dish drying mat. Today is laundry day, so it’ll be washed soon.

Everything we have is designed to suit our needs. If they were smart enough, they’d make their own systems best designed to suit their needs. I’m imagining, like, a giant funnel of seeds.

That’s the thing. Liberals didn’t go wrong. Liberals won in the marketplace of ideas and achieved mainstream dominance. It’s just that, liberals won so hard that the only way the wrong could win is by lying and cheating, because they’re objectively wrong. So, naturally vicious people naturally backlash viciously.

You have nothing to hide, but you do have vulnerabilities that can be exploited. In the capitalist context, right, your car tracks the way you drive to sell your data to insurance companies, so the insurance companies can raise your rates. There’s nothing stopping a company from, say, targeting you with discounts to induce an infrequent consumer to build a habit then raising the price after you developed a routine and preference for the product. Or, let’s say you recently purchased flights to a ski town in Colorado, a company can raise the prices on outdoor activity gear as you’re likely to purchase regardless of the cost.

They keep complaining about it because we keep using the worse system for no reason. /shrug

They’re just annoyed that we use a different system with no upside when the rest of the world all chose to establish a consistent measurement system.

I would say a mile and a half is the maximum I will walk. past that it’s not worth it.
He might just have resting douche face but otherwise be harmless. But yeah, I’d definitely start putting up signs in my windows/around my building. I’m just like that.

A good male barber can do long male haircuts or short. I wouldn’t expect a woman’s salon to be as familiar with men’s haircuts. If I were in your position, I’d go on instagram and check out the barbers in my area.
Owning a home can have similar issues, where the boiler, pipes, roof, septic tank, etc. can all need to be replaced at random times, and they can be suddenly very expensive. Ultimately with renting you have the flexibility to go to an entirely new market if the juice stops being worth the squeeze in your area.
