I’ll admit it seems easier to access the battery, but that is not what I would call replaceable for the average user. I definitely thought it would be externally replaceable when this was announced.
Edit: You still need to take a part the shell and access the switches internals to swap the battery. The big changes seem to be removing the need to remove some adhesive parts and the heat shield doesn’t cover the battery anymore.
Haha, I’m not sure how much getting into the manga helped in that case. Not sure well ever get a real ending to that story.
I think Shia, I can’t spell his last name, acting was the weakest part, but outside of that I thought it did a good job by most accounts.
There is a pretty decent cast that does a good job hitting the comedic and serious tones for what is a ridiculous premise (advanced robots disguising themselves as vehicles). The plot also gives a somewhat reasonable explanation for why the transformers are on earth and links it to human history in a neat way. And I don’t think anyone could argue for the action sequences, at least for the time it released.
Sure its no Oscar winner, but for what it’s supposed to be I thought it hit most of the marks.
Now the sequels and future movies, those are all a mess.

LLMs and generally deep learning as a whole have a number of serious limitations that would seemingly prevent AGI. That’s not even getting into the fact that a lot of the fundamentals of LLMs havent changed since they were rolled out almost a decade ago, so it seems unlikely we struck gold in 2017 and just havent worked it out yet.
A great example is that LLMs can’t do most math on their own. The Dag like structure of deep learning puts a finite limit on the number of calculations that are possible.
No matter how you slice things up you will be creating minority and majority voices. It may be that splitting up districts by population means there is no race based majority district or it makes it so urban voices have a majority in most if not all districts. If you slice by some geographic definition you’ll absolutely create districts with varying population sizes, giving certain people a larger voice at the state and national level.
In the end, just the decision of what a source of bias even is will likely have some bias to it. I’m not saying that we can’t make things better, but that there is no such thing as a perfect way to draw districts and at the end of the day just choosing which algorithm is used will benefit some people over others.
The moonlight argument only holds up if you have the hardware to run the game. With steaming I always assumed the appeal was for playing games that you couldn’t locally.
Since its only for streaming games, not games you installed on your Xbox/pc, I could believe that it’s not a huge percentage of users.
When I had gamepass streaming was usually pointless as I could just play locally 90% of the time.
I think part of the issue is that fewer movies and tv shows use licensed music anymore so most music in movies its just the score now. I blame it on streaming as it eats into profits, as can be seen by things like scrubs reruns not using the original music from the episodes.
Sadly there is no such thing as an unbiased algorithm, every algorithm will be biased towards some form of outcome. Algorithms are just overtly biased as their intentions are more clearly defined.
That’s the issue with any multiversal setup where each world is a slight variation of the original. It’s obvious from exploring those different universes that they are diverging rapidly from the original universe, so how did they ever converge in the first place?
I think it’s best not to overthink it and just roll with it as an interesting “what if”.
I got that he is supposed to come off inexperienced, the issue is that I’m not sure the plot of the entire movie changes much if he were removed from the events.
He never solves the riddlers riddles, he has to be told the answer (which the riddler might have told to anyone at that point). He does disarm the shooters at the very end, but he doesn’t stop any killings/assassination attempt/flooding. It could be argued that maybe the politican would have been successfully killed if he didn’t stop the riddlers henchmen (I don’t think the shooter misses because of Batman, but can’t recall). Additionally, he was the one that really set off the falcone plot point, which may have been dealt with very differently if he didn’t get involved.
My only issue with the 2022 Batman is that Batman basically does nothing. He doesn’t figure out the riddlers clues or plan, and constantly messes up. It would have been better if he had a win or two throughout the movie.

Support is definitely getting better regarding all of that. I just sent up a OPDS service to Audiobookshelf to be able to get books on one of my ereaders.
Next step is setting up some method to sync reading progress, but one step at a time.
I think your second paragraph highlights why android ereaders have some fans. It’s not so much that android is a great solution, but it does mean that you aren’t locked into the vendors OS and therefore store.
I self-host my eBook/comic library and so most ereaders won’t work with that or are a little persnickety.
