I feel like the number of “I switched to Linux” videos on YouTube have exploded recently, although it might just be some algorithm thing.

It just irked me that whenever something highly improbable happens it must be fake.

But I guess that’s just the proper way to view anything on social now-a-days.

But you can’t say that it’s fake or broken just because it’s unprobable, unless there’s supposed to be some additional safe guards to prevent the same random value from repeating within a certain distance from itself.

One pretty safe way is if you get a separate drive for Linux and completely swap out the Windows one. It’s not dual booting but at least you can switch back if it doesn’t work out for you.

Just make sure you have whatever you need to get the Windows drive working again if it’s encrypted.

Unrealistic loot.

Like when you kill a wolf and get shotgun shells as loot.

But also more subtle stuff like enemies in a remote place that don’t carry or have any kind of food and drink with them.

And when the enemy is clearly carrying a weapon, but it’s not lootable and you get some random stuff instead.

Looks at my setup with Samsung tv, NUC, and wireless touchpad-keyboard combo… Huh? How about that!
