Yes, it’s ridiculous. In my case there was only one way. Hyperfocus on it and do it all in one go. And I had a deadline to fill it out, that helped too.

Auf meiner Suche nach den deutschesten Einheiten die mir einfallen, war ich erst bei Zentimeter, da ist die Abkürzung aber leider cm, unterscheidet sich also nicht von der angelsächsischen Abkürzung. Die naheliegendste Einheit am metrischen System waren dann natürlich Fußballfelder. Eine mögliche Abkürzung dafür wäre fbf, das hätte aber niemand verstanden.

Ich gebe zu dass 2fußballfelder sehr übertrieben und weit weg von 2rem (normalerweise 32px) ist. Es war mir aber zu viel Aufwand 2rem exakt in Fußballfelder umzurechnen.

To fully embrace Open Source means to become a good citizen of the worldwide Open Source community. It doesn’t suffice to just “use” Open Source. We want to actively give back, contribute to Open Source and share code of ours that might be useful to the outside world as well.

So please forgive us if we don’t always get everything right with regard to Open Source from the start. As a company whose core business has not traditionally been software development, we still have a lot to learn, in particular from those of you who have already been walking this path before.

I didn’t expect them to be this based. I wonder how they’ll actually do this.
