Some smells are indicators of future illness. If you aren’t cleaning your self in some way you will get sick. Even animals clean themselves. You don’t need a lot of water. Sponge baths, natural soaps, smoke baths. All sorts of stuff.

Don’t confuse “natural” for good. If you are dirty you smell bad. Being sweaty and mildewy is literally just bad for you. Even cats know to wash themselves lol

Bad smells can indicate unclean conditions. BO is an indicator of that. It’s an evolved feature. Natural odors are one thing but being unclean is another

Using cologne can actually increase the smell. Part of how cologne works is it uses a compound which easily evaporates and carries a smell sensitive molecule with it. If it also picks up your BO shit gets 100 times worse. It doesn’t cover up anything it just amplifies it.

Yes exactly. It’s nothing to do with the definition. It’s about how people try to re-define words to mean other shit. Not that we shouldn’t care about the definition of the word. If someone is trying to define something so we can all communicate on a level playing field with words we all understand then good. Otherwise it’s a bad faith argument. People need to be able to come to a common understanding together in a conversation.
