    For instance, at the time of publication, the same butter product was priced a dollar less at Real Canadian Superstore, which is also owned by Loblaw Co. No Frills — a discount supermarket owned by the same parent company — priced the product at $7.49.

    Yes, it’s very complicated. 🙄

    It’s not really complicated at all. I’m pretty sure farmers don’t make any more than they used to on the butter they produce, so it’s definitely someone in the middle that’s claiming a higher margin on it that’s making it go up.

    I wonder who that could be?
