    I’m going to leave this up for the time being, given that this is a breaking event that doesn’t have much other coverage but wanted to note the idea of Ukraine “invading” its own city is certainly an interesting way of framing what’s happening.

    Patrick Lancaster has a history of framing events in Ukraine in extremely pro-Russian ways and has taken some heat for being a Russian propagandist. For the time being I’ll let people watch and decide for themselves but between his highly shouty presentation where his bluster is making it hard to just get facts, his history, and just looking at the comments to see what kind of audience he’s got I’m personally not very impressed.

      I wouldnt have even noticed that wording without reading this. Its crazy how subtle propaganda can be.

      I’ll give credit to Patrick, he’s actually on the “frontlines” and has been reporting since 2014 or so? I think he is more creditible than majority of the west “reporters”. I do agree that he has changed views from Ukraine to more Russian leaning views
