White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that President Donald Trumpās alleged phone call to the Palm Beach police chief in 2006, wherein Trump allegedly told him, āThank goodness youā re stopping [Epstein],ā dismantles establishment narratives.
Leavittās comments came at a White House press briefing after the Department of Justice released a document from a 2019 interview between former Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter and the FBI.
Per the document, Reiter said Trump told him, āthank goodness youā re stopping him, everyone has known heās been doing this,ā and Ghislaine Maxwell āis evil and to focus on her.ā The document also states that Trump told Reiter he booted Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club and that Trump āwas one of the very first people to call when people found out that they were investigatingā Epstein. Reiter told the Miami Herald the call occurred in July 2006.
Leavitt said she is not sure whether the call between Trump and Reiter took place, but if it did, it supports what Trump has long said.
āLook, it was a phone call that may or may not have happened in 2006. I donāt know the answer to that question. What Iām telling you is that what President Trump has always said is that he kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago club because Jeffrey Epstein was a creep,ā she said.
āAnd that remains true, and this call, if it did happen, corroborates exactly what President Trump has said from the beginning,ā she added.

Call me crazy, but you need some evidence that directly links him to it.
Itās pure conspiracy to suggest that the only reason he had made the call was to cover his ass - he was shining a light on a situation that would ruin him if he was actually guilty.
Of course they cut deals with informants, but the idea that he got full immunity for calling it in after the fact that an investigation started is quite the crazy stretch fueled by what I imagine is a big dose of TDS typical on Lemmy.

I ask people for the evidence, and they say stuff like, āHis name is mentioned 35,000 timesā¦!ā ⦠across millions of emails where politics is being discussed.
This isnāt really evidence.
āThereās so much evidence that itās not really evidence!!!ā
Cry me a river.
If there was substantive evidence, they would not simply quote a number at you.
But there isnāt any because none of those references tie back to anything significant.
Keep on telling yourself that. You guys have been wrapping yourselves in tissue-thin tales of cope ever since you realized that Trumpās campaign promise to release the files was BS. The endless parade of lies blowing up in your faces lately would be a bit sad if it wasnāt so richly deserved.

Some of what you say is true, and some of it seems to be false.
This is all from an article from the New Yorker dated Feb. 11th of this year:
However, this is pretty wild:
Of course, these are serious allegations and fit the general pattern of what we know about the Epstein files.
But some more on the specific allegations of Katie Johnson and Jane Doe:
The article also apparently accepts the narrative that Trump was trying to stop Epstein in 2006:
(I will continue in another post)
More on what the Epstein emails actually say about Trump:
This is rather interesting - āhe never got a massageā as stated by Epstein.
This is also not entirely out of character. After all, Trump is infamously a teetotaller.
But yeah, I think this is a good summary of everything relevant.
Would you like to add some stuff? Did the article miss anything?
