Honestly I like it, I learned a new word, some history about our region, and it’s easy/fun to say.
Me too! :D
Neat … we Cree in northern Ontario pronounce it ‘Kichi seepee Meskan’ … our Algonquin cousins in the south have a shared language with ours … it’s like English and French … we share many words but our languages are very distinct but you can tell they are related.
It will be great to drive in Ottawa some day and say that I’m driving down Kichi seepee meskan to my family and friends.
I’ll just continue to call it the Parkway like nothing ever changed…or kimchi like the fermented cabbage.
You’re gonna be needlessly confusing people but okay, I guess the name is really important to you
How do you differentiate between the many parkways?
You do you emacs
You do you, enjoy not being understood.
