i’m doing it because I want to make the fediverse more friendly place, in hopes of making it more welcoming for new users, and the nicer place in general. But I wonder how much is just less bots.

      He is right tho. Basically lemmy is even more left-leaning than reddit so anything even remotely right ruffles feathers. But at the same time people are more prone to actually discussion standpoints so I don’t mind.

        I have yet to encounter any significant amount of people looking for an actual discussion and not just crying nazi whenever someone dares to step out of line. Maybe like 1 in 50 is a reasonable response or something.

        But hey, this is basically just the crowd that was moronic enough to think reddit was a far right platform in spite of literally all evidence, so my expectations weren’t high.
