House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) on Sunday said Democrats will not focus on impeaching President Trump if they regain a majority in the lower chamber after midterm elections.

“I’ve made clear from the very beginning that our top priority is going to be to drive down the high cost of living,” the House minority leader added.

The House minority leader has lauded Democrats’ push for redistricting nationwide in an effort to pick up additional House seats and signaled that the party will advocate more for working-class Americans, after Democrats saw losses from the key demographic in the 2024 election.

    Yeah but I don’t need to because you’ve been doing it the whole time. You are even doing it in this thread. And as I’ve said before, we’ve done this half a hundred times and every time I stack the evidence up and you just dismiss it.

    So instead of the negative case, you are now responsible for proving the positive case. You want to make the case that you advocated against Harris’ or Biden’s stance on genocide: Put up or shut up.

        You made the claim to be anti-genocide and that you’ve advocated against genocide. I’m asking you to back that up for the time period '23 to '24, where that kind of advocacy had the chance of making a political difference.

        I think you can’t be arsed for the same reason I won’t do it yet again: because you and I both know that it doesn’t exist.

            The ask was:

            Harris and Bidens stance on Israel led directly to them losing the election. You worked your fucking ass off to keep them in support of that genocide, and unless you can show otherwise, which, I don’t think you can, we have to continue on the assumption that you are a pro-genocide fascist.

                    Well I’m not fucking funding those other genocides as a fucking taxpayer, am I? So its a pretty fucking irrelevant what-about-ism you are trying to play.

                    Likewise, there was there an entire fucking movement, making it impeccably clear, that they were not OK with how the president was handling the matter. They litterally told the administration they would lose, in fucking December, January and February, that they didn’t have the support of the voters on this issue.

                    Democrats, and shit-bird genocide apologists like you decided not to listen, and that you could defy the basic fucking physics of how elections work and just force support for a candidate who didn’t have the support of the base, instead of working your rhetoric to change the candidate.

                    We’re all suffering the consequences of the actions you chose.
