Usually, I just pull something out of my ass with the idea of it being hopefully unique. I don’t think at all about the potential deeper meaning it might present.
I used the very first username I came up with for AOL for many, many other accounts, including a gmail account. I used to make accounts for every new platform that came along so I could own that name. It’s unique to this day, and includes no numbers or “special characters”. I can search that name and find old posts and comments I made when I wore a younger man’s clothes. I don’t use that name anymore, but I passed it on to my son in the Steam account I gave him over ten years ago.
