Eclectic Pictures and Hollywood Ventures Group unveiled the news at the Cannes Film Festival as part of a new features slate of “globally commercial films.”
Guess they didn’t learn from Oceans 8, and the Ghostbusters movie.
Why not just make a unique all women movie instead of trying to co op another franchise. All female movies can be great and we have plenty out there that did well.

This movie isn’t needed. And when it bombs they will blame us for being sexist.
I haven’t seen any of those movies. I do remember The 355 looking interesting, but I missed the theatrical run, and then heard that it got panned by most people (it has a 5.6 rating on IMDb).
I think The Expendables is actually one of the few of these types of movies I’d like to see, so long as they include older and iconic female actresses like Linda Hamilton.
To be fair all my choices show my age.
