I have a very rare disease that affects my toes. The first time I had to use a walking boot, the boot slipped off and hit me in the side. It took 3 stitches. I didn’t even know what I had. I had a lot of pain in my lower back the next day and I needed to get a new boot. I had a similar pain the next day. I told my husband and he immediately came to the doctor. They told me I had a rare disease that causes permanent leg pain that can never go away and I have to wear a walking boot for life. I’ve had 3 doctors try to prescribe me the medicine I had been prescribed for my leg. They all said that my leg is normal and that I should get the medicine and I should be fine. They prescribed me the same medicine for the foot and told me that I just have a rare disease that causes permanent leg pain and it shouldn’t have any side effects. I didn’t know what I was talking about. I’ve been on the same medication for my leg since I was 9 years old. I went to 3 different doctors. All of them said the same thing, that my leg is normal. I’ve had 3 doctors tell me that it’s normal. My new doctor said the same thing. She said that I can take my medicine and take pain meds that I take. She didn’t say anything about my leg. I don’t know what I’m talking
