I don’t know if you follow the show on twitter or on insta, but I noticed they’ve gone quiet since the season started. What’s interesting is that the cast seem to have gotten along fine. It’s a bit disturbing to watch how they’ve grown apart. I’ve heard they’ve only known each other for a few weeks and the couple hasn’t been together for years. Does anyone know anything about them?
The deuxmoi/the cast of Friends is a good example of this. The character is clearly drawn to being in legal/practice, but Joey is also drawn to being in comedy. The writers used this as a way to give Joey a bit of leeway in situations where a lawyer is involved, as well as keeping him out of legal trouble. I remember that scene in Friends where Joey is doing the same exact thing. It was one of my favorites, and I always found it so funny. He’s a lawyer and he’s a stand-up comic.
