The average sexual and romantic behaviour of gay men and women is one of the most visible indicators of dimorphism. For example, the couple of lesbians I know have been in committed, monogamous LTRs (one even moved to Canada to be with her lady and they’ve been going steady for at least a decade by now) and the one gay man I know who’s actually in a “committed relationship” (the rest are “single”, my uncle included) is a dude in an open marriage. I don’t mean to say anything by it, btw, it’s just an observation. 🤔

    • Weird, it’s almost exactly the opposite for me. Almost every lesbian I know is going back to usually the same 2-3 partners, or in open marriages (but mostly just look for a 3rd as far as I know) and the rest are all single except the occasional one night stand. I know of two couples in long term relationships.

Most of the gay men I know are married or asexual (but most not aromatic) with two or three notable exceptions being transmascs in open relationships.
