This little grebe had quite the haul until this gull swooped in.

    Iceland has a bird called the parasitic Jaeger who specializes in stealing from gulls. So karma sucks

    Feeding This bird will feed on rodents, insects, eggs, chicks and small birds in the breeding season, but the majority of its diet (especially in winter and on migration) is made up of food that it acquires by robbing other birds (primarily gulls) and terns of their catches in an act called kleptoparasitism

    Not a great shot but they were really fast.

    I saw a gull take the chicks out of a kestrel’s nest on top of York Minster. The poor mother screamed for hours afterwards.
