        They’re saying that this isn’t Real Capitalism™. And they’re partially right. It’s often called hyper-capitalism, something regular capitalism likes to evolve into.

          Nice save for them. Some of the stories I’ve read on .world lately make me realize how much in trouble USA and the West in general is, but the comments are absolutely gobsmacking.

            Yeah, the system is breaking down but nobody with the power to do so wants to change the system. On the contrary, the top fights to keep their growth going by cannibalizing the rest of society until the rot is everywhere and a foreign actor topples things. That’s just history’s refrain.

              And some of these breakdowns produced aberrations, which must be violently suppressed, to prove they don’t work.
