I have three Lemmy clients on my phone: Blorp, Summit and Voyager. However, I mostly use Voyager. I think it’s the best app for Lemmy that I’ve tried so far. It’s the one I’m most comfortable with.
Used to be Memmy for Lemmy. That’s gone, so I’ve been using Arctic and the web.
This just inspired me to download the source code for Memmy for Lemmy. Whether I spend time updating it for personal use or not, at least I have it if I need it. Sorta like how I plan to keep a derivative of Pocket going if I decide Wallabag isn’t enough (also code available on github).
Voyager because it was the first one I tried.
Same. I haven’t grown out of it and it’s doing literally everything I want it to.
Voyager because Interstellar doesn’t work well for me.
the website, because it works the same as on my computer
uazo/cromite on my phone and qutebrowser on my laptop
Voyager.
I used “Reddit is Fun” for years on Reddit but when it came time to switch to Lemmy I picked Voyager (wefwef at the time) because the UI was the most similar. I tried many of the other popular apps and I was happy with most of them, but Voyager was (and is) my favorite.
It’s simple. Lots of text. Easy to use. Looks nice.
I usually use the official Lemmy client in the browser, because it is minimalistic and fast on any device
Jerboa
Heard that it was an app from a Lemmy dev.Tried it and it was simple enough.
Summit, it’s the closest replacement for Sync I’ve found.
Mlem. Open source and native application.
Fuck apps, anything that can be done in a browser will be done in a browser for me
“Where’s my battery?”
I was using Sync for Lemmy until a week or two ago. It was nice and familiar because that was my reddit app of choice prior to api-gate, but for some reason it kept frequently erroring out and not showing posts or images. I switched to Voyager and so far it’s been pretty good
I was a sync user for many years on Reddit. Then also I paid for the subscription on Lemmy. The app stopped being updated so I left. It had been around a year at the time since anyone heard from the dev.
I haven’t checked back. What’s the latest? Still got the “LJ does this but he always comes back! He’s so great!!” crowd; or has everyone jumped ship?
Honestly, I don’t know. The app had been really spotty for months, I didn’t check about updates or anything, I just jumped ship. If the maintainers abandoned it though, that would explain why it broke.
Voyager, cause I like it the best. I tried a bunch.
Blorp. It had the best name.
