There are 35% fewer software developer job listings on Indeed today, than five years ago. Compared to other industries, job listings for software engineers grew much more in 2021-2022, but have declined much faster since. A look into possible reasons for this, and what could come next.

      I mean, if you have the ability to wait out the bubble, you should do so. This genAI ouroboros is going to implode sooner or later. Probably sooner because of all the cascade effects of the protectionist idiocy our government is getting into.

    Indeed is useless for both recruiters and recruits. The garbage there is greater than 99.99%. Most likely is is finally waning as a platform.

          I think both suck in real life.

          Glassdoor: sucks more than indeed.

          Company website: good luck filling 1000s of forms to get a job.
