Trump supporters have gone down the path that I and many others believe is irredeemable. I wanted to ask the Americans here what they think will happen to trump supporters in a post trump America. Do you think there will be an offramp for them if so what do they need to do to make amends?
They’ll either go to jail doing something stupid or just go back to being regular conservatives or get out of politics in general. I know plenty of Trump supporters IRL and online who are literally in too deep with this Trump stuff and will back out of politics as soon as his term is over unless and equal or better version of Trump arises.
When they back out of it will you hold it over them or just let them return to more moderate views?
