Having been a motorcyclist in NYC this is true. They will try to hit you to keep you from doing something they can’t. I can’t imagine how much worse it must be for cyclists.

It’s just common sense that there are two classes of people in the world. Those the law protects but does not bind, and those the law binds but does not protect.
I agree. Carbon capture is not the solution, no one thing is, but it should be one of the many things we use to work toward a solution.
One of the nuke plants I work at put in a hydrogen electrolyzer two years ago for this reason, and they are doubling it’s size next year because it worked so well. Their “problem” is different than solar. Nukes constantly put it the same amount of power, so they feed the excess into the electrolyzer when demand is low, but it’s basically the same idea. Electrolysis id inefficient, but if you’re producing more energy than you can feed into the grid you may as well do something useful with it.
New rice just dropped.
The Kennedy’s?
If that were actually the case wouldn’t we want them sold here at a loss so we could drain resources from the Chinese government.
That’s not exactly what it’s doing. Cavitation is when when the pressure of a liquid reduces below the vapour point. Heat isn’t involved the liquid “boils” because the vapour point decreases with reduced pressure.
If you haven’t, watch Wonderfalls, and Pushing daisies.
They want to make that illegal too. Silly peasant, sex is for rich people. The rich can have any kind of sex they want.
That’s the thing with harbor freight stuff. It might be great at a lower price, and last forever, or it might be the worst piece of garbage imaginable but you aren’t out too much money to find out.
Hi Monsanto
If you’re up for it start with the Robot novels, or even the Robot short stories, and go through Empire then Foundation. The Empire novels are the weakest of the entire multiple millennia spanning story, but it’s worth reading the whole thing in my opinion.
I personally loved it. For me it was the last good Final Fantasy, but none of the Final Fantasy games past VI never really clicked for me except IX. So take that into consideration with my opinion.
They aren’t even hiding it anymore.
A vehicle AC compressor does cycle. There is a clutch on the pulley attached to the compressed that engages the compressor or lets the pulley free wheel.
It was said the only really dangerous place in NYC whole Giuliani was mayor was in between him and a camera, but that’s because he’s a narcissistic piece of shit, not because he improved NY.
Atari 520ST. I was eight. My father got a good deal on it because one of his co-workers was upgrading to the 1040ST that had just come out. It had a beautiful paper white monochrome monitor that did 640x400 resolution, or I could hook it up to the television and do 320x200 with 512 colors.
I’ll second GEM. The 520ST was my first computer as well.
