Ok, leave?
Ok, leave?
Sam Reich, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Hank Green to name a few. Also Kyle Gass both for what he said in Australia, but then for deleting his public apology shortly after posting it.
Hawaii is better than Florida in every way. I like Maui the most with Kuaii in a close second. Florida is packed and full of the dumbest people you’ll ever meet. Hawaiians are generally chill. The weather is better in Hawaii and the state is leagues of magnitude prettier. I’ve vacationed multiple times in both states and I would spend the extra to go to Hawaii everytime, both for political reasons and because it’s way better.
True in theory, but in practice, those are pretty much universally accepted curse words. I personally swear all of the time when I know the audience I’m around, and hear people swearing from across my office, so culturally it’s not a thing where I work or especially my previous manufacturing job. In places that have outside customers or patients, the expectation is generally different and varying levels of masking those outbursts is required, sometimes even saying things like "crap"is too much.
Until it’s escalated, and then it’s definitely OPs problem. Most jobs have something about professionalism written is their handbook. The coworker will win that fight with hr every time.
No, the content of the article has no merit because of the source. Nothing is verifiable and the source has strong Russian ties. Russia, who is known for spreading false information, called “propaganda”. I would suggest looking that word up, because you don’t seem to know what it is or how it works.
I agree that there are too many commercials, especially in sports. However, commercials an ads are what keep shows on TV, unless you’re paying for a service, which is still mostly funded by ads, but it’s grosser.
I didn’t like commercials, and I almost never watch live TV, but I understand their existence as a means for the product to exist for “free”.
If the frequency was less, the volume wasn’t double that of every show, and political ads weren’t allowed or at least limited, TV would be a much happier place.
You would still have to pass the cert exams. The programs are to prepare you for the exams.
So not voting for Harris or Trump will solve it? I don’t think it’s my liberal mind living in reality that’s lost. I know you’ve seen it many times, but one of those two will be president. Voting for someone else helps ensure Trump wins, which is the worse outcome. If you can’t wrap your head around that, then you’ve shown the validity of the rest of your opinions.
How are you going to fix it in 3 weeks, oh one with all of the answers?
Me too. I think they should skip the criminal prosecution and just do executions. Good riddance.
Are you taking about previews? Yes, those are ads. The intro to a show that is the same every episode, those aren’t ads, but are skipable.
Because it’s part of the show? What is it advertising? Usually there are some amount of credits. Certainly not ads.
I have not. I can only do the audiobooks, especially for something this long. I’m going to have to go back and listen to the last 5 hours or so of RoW to refresh. It ended so powerfully in the epilogue that I need closure.
I’ve really enjoyed everything in the Cosmere, but Stormlight is a step above the rest. Last book in this era is out soon. I can’t wait.
A rollercoaster. It was dropping until the cheese thing, which I think is just normal, unspoken behavior. Sounds to me like a bout of depression, or at least what I think is depression. I 100% get the same lethargy to life, and it tends to come in waves.
If you haven’t, I’d look at having a chat with a professional. I’m not a good role model for this, but I have pushed through the lulls more times than I care to admit, and it gets tougher every year. The negative thoughts set in and create this negative feedback loop that makes functioning difficult, and digs a hole that’s hard to climb out of.
Anecdotally, if this is new to you, it doesn’t make for a happy life. I’m working to get help, but there are roadblocks. I would encourage you to try the same. If it doesn’t help, then you can cross that bridge later. If it does, then you’ll be in a much better place and the light will shine again.
…or the Internet really is just shitty.
Doing something that will almost assuredly kill you is a suicide attempt.
Starting ones self on fire is a suicide attempt, regardless of political motive. This isn’t the same as sky diving or even trying to see the Titanic in a carbon fiber pod, this is pure and simple, self immolation to death that failed, so far.
You should have told him to pull over to let you out, not paid him, and reported him. Bonus points to have recorded evidence first.
Assholes like this, regardless of their current situation, hard times or not, should not be allowed to continue doing this. If I go into work, and push code into production without reviews and approvals, I lose my job or at least get reprimanded. Nothing excuses the behavior you’ve described.
