There is no point doing it. Reddit will have your old comments in their DB, and they can still train on it or sell it to others. At most, delete/edit creates a new version in their DB, the old data is still there.

Search engines work by building an index over all the sites on the internet. The index and the status of the sites aren’t linked, the search engine basically has a cached view of the site.

If the site goes down after it is indexed, DDG won’t know about it until the next index.

groups gives you your current active groups for your current session. /etc/groups will give you the groups that you get for the next session. Not sure about group username, might be the same.

Its weird, but given you won’t be changing groups for users frequently, I don’t think I would bother fixing it. Maybe Fedora changed something recently so this is how it is now? I would just forget about it.

Yeah, thats very weird. I dunno if that is some new quirk, but it definitely sounds wrong. You can also cat /etc/groups to see what groups a user has been added to, maybe something was preventing that file being updated?

Where was the FTC action when it was revealed that period apps were selling user data? Does the FTC not care about 2nd class citizens? (Sarcasm and rhetorical if it wasn’t clear)
