I didn’t know what it was called, but I think it’s common knowledge at this point that banks don’t actually have all our money. Pretty sure we (Americans at least) found that out during the great depression when everyone was trying to withdraw their money at the same time.
Dog groomers get almost zero legal repercussions for mistreating dogs. It has to be undeniable that the groomer injured the dog on purpose before anything really happens. That’s why it’s SO important to trust the person grooming your dog if they’re the type of breed that needs it.
Thank you for elaborating the actual case, this makes sense.
This is obviously a victory for humanity overall, but does anyone think the Supreme Court could take this new definition and use it to take guns away from regular people? I’m an idiot so if anyone can tell me why this isn’t a possibility, I’ll be relieved. The thing is, if Trump getting elected again does lead to the fall of democracy in this country (which I doubt, but it’s definitely more possible than any other candidate we’ve ever had), couldn’t the Supreme Court take guns away from people who opposed him?
I say apparently because I didn’t go to the school and look at the litter box. She moved across country because there were litter boxes in her kids classrooms.
I wasn’t saying they aren’t doing it, I was saying it’s not okay. The person I was commenting to was trivializing it by comparing it to doing chores at home.
A friend of mine’s sister took her kids out of the school and moved from Arizona to Ohio because their school apparently actually had litter boxes
This is a funny comment but in no way is a homeless shelter doing that okay
Of course. But in this economy, if you’re privileged enough to be able to go to school, it’s best if you major in a field that is in demand and has a decent entry level salary. The people who got enough support to go to school but chose a profession that doesn’t pay anything, have no sympathy from me.
It’s not my point. No need to apologize though. I just think a lady online being startled by those words and posting about it saying “have you seen this?” is not at all the same as satanic panic. Who knows maybe that’s exactly what she was doing but I doubt it. It was probably just a startled Mom or Auntie
Everybody doesn’t have to be an expert on a subject to say “look at this, it’s crazy right?”. It’s up to experts to explain why it’s not actually crazy. It’s still crazy the term has to be “sacrifice child”, whether it’s common or not
It’s still very jarring. Attributing it solely to satanic panic is wild though. It’s just someone’s first reaction to seeing something. Not everyone does research before having a natural human reaction.
So “sacrifice child” is a common term used in what language? I don’t believe in religion but I also don’t know a whole lot about computer science. So I would believe you if you said it meant something.
But seeing the words “sacrifice child” would rightfully startle anybody. It’s nothing to do with cherry picking or satanic panic. It’s everything to do with those two very specific words being right next to each other. Nothing else.
Girls mature faster than boys
Even if he wasn’t being sarcastic, these are children. Not full grown adults
The point was irrelevant.
What? How does her being weirded out about the words “sacrifice child” mean she ignored anything? It doesn’t matter what triggered the error, she is questioning why the code has dark word combinations
Ah this explains it. I always figured the coil was faulty which is why I was so confused how it could just suddenly work after not working out of the box. But the wick being dry makes more sense. I’m glad I hung on to them
