That’s not even strange, the spoon is just the perfect utensil.

You don’t think it’d still be the same even with the headphone jack still there? Wireless headphones and converters for wired headphones do exist, they just don’t care.
I think the thing that’s really getting to me (and probably a few other people too) is the image above. Taken at face value, someone in a wheelchair, seemingly in the role of an adventurer. Well-dressed and can afford a wheelchair, with magic, seems like they could probably have gotten that healed if it were just a normal injury. Healed or otherwise resolved in whatever other manner.
Not to mention, the context certainly does matter and can make inclusions come off as preachy.
Thirdly, if they were to visit Earth, do you really think that given the difficulty of traversing space, that you’d be able to identify signs of their arrival?
I don’t think that you can make a person into a pedophile, any more than you can make a person gay.
If you really think about it, we’ve seen arguments like that before. That pornography creates rapists. That violent video games creates murderers. And that’s just strictly on the consumption of media.
You really can’t believe you can put it in a microwave while holding it , but it is genuinely great. A bit long to heat up, but I can’t complain when you get a nice toasted sandwich in exchange.
I think nobody would really say their childhood was boring. But if you were to take a kid from the 80s and a kid today and compare their daily lives, regardless of what interests they have, the 80s kid would find their own life pale in comparison. You’ve got video games, movies, social media, news, books, and music on the entertainment front. There’s so many paths to express one’s creativity, whether in art, music, engineering, film. And of course nothing is really stopping you from doing anything you could do 30 years ago and doing it today.
There is RCS, which supports actually sending decent quality images and stuff, but it only works Android to Android. Android to iOS (although perhaps it’s changed since I last checked) can only do SMS.
While that would be ideal and it makes me feel a bit gross when I catch myself thinking the same things sometimes, it’s inevitable. Retribution is one of the easiest ways to exact a punishment, violent or not.
I was under the impression that instead of using an adblocker, they’ve just used a VPN, even before adblockers being blocked, and now it’s stopped working because of these changes.
That’s a oddly specific way to block ads, why not just use a regular adblocker?
Basic idea is that if you own a website where people post stuff, you aren’t responsible for what people post.
It gets difficult to argue its not you if you put the person in charge of what posts are allowed.
Sure, but it’s not as if this exact thing hasn’t happened before and didn’t play out at all like this. Even before this controversy.
And then you also to have to consider that /r/mildlyinteresting didn’t suddenly shift to NSFW, that was /r/interestingasfuck and they don’t seem to have changed anything?
In what capacity is it anymore disrespect than doing literally anything else?
