I stopped caring about crypto once I realized that me and like 14 other people were the only ones who seemed to actually care about the technology behind it and it’s possible uses… pretty much everyone else was a speculator.

The most useless things get value, anything that isn’t about building coin value loses interest. Anything useful inherently isn’t going to shoot up in value (because you know… People are using them and not sitting on them).

I think you need to look at this differently. Look at it in the light of the event itself.

Will you enjoy going to the wedding? Will you enjoy your free time wherever this is before/after the wedding? Can you see yourself regretting not going? Will there be other like minded people to mingle with?

If the answer to those questions are no, then don’t go. But if the answers are yes, just go and enjoy yourself.

Your making this more complicated than it needs to be… you’re not the one marrying your brother.

I have a bit of bitcoin FOMO. Whether these coins crash in a week, or a year, BTC is probably going to keep hitting all time highs, due to the fact that it’s the major on-ramp to a lot of meme coins.

Meanwhile I got my 3 year old daughter playing educational flash games on the PC like a good Millenial.

She even knows how to get her video files playing on VLC.
