Yeah but Epstein’s friends are rich and have ready access to attorneys.
More evidence that our justice system is more about punishing the poor.

I’m just so dumbfounded by how many progressive constitutional amendments got passed but voted Republican.
I just can’t comprehend someone saying, “You know, this asshole took away my abortion rights but since I’m voting to restore them, I guess he should get another shot.”
These people think that abortion amendments are going to hold when their dear leader is in the White House.
It’s funny that the last time this was floated by Republicans, they thought they were kicking the Democrat states out.
In other words, they thought they were keeping the Federal government.
Republican states need Democrat states far more than vice versa.
If Trump truly does win, Republicans won’t split the country. They’ll make it even more impossible to leave.
These challenges have been filed in
bad faiththe hopes that the current conservative SCOTUS will hear an emergency appeal and give the presidency to Trump.
Ftfy
TBF…voter intimidation is likely to be coming from the Republicans. I wouldn’t trust any sort of hotline they post, even if it was in good faith.
Well, now I definitely won’t vote for him!
If hookers could talk Linux to me, or even better, help me resolve my fucking display issue, I’d be giving them money hand over fist.
Literally
And figuratively

And if she doesn’t wear earrings, it will be a dildo in the ass.
And if she gets x-rayed beforehand, it will be something else.
There’s no reasoning with people who have beliefs based in fantasy.
Because it’s not a constitutional requirement. It used to be tradition to release your tax records too until Trump stopped doing it.
I imagine that no Republican candidate moving forward will ever put out their tax records as a result.
I think it’s a result of trying to get support right now so you don’t get stuck waiting for someone to up vote your question or having other questions push your thread further down.
I’ve been a victim of this myself and going to Discord seems to be better getting someone to actually help you, especially for niche questions.
I’m not saying I like it but I certainly get it.
If you set up using compose and don’t have the version pinned:
dockee compose down && docker compose pull jellyfin && docker compose up -d
To paraphrase Nixon:
“When you’re a company, it’s not illegal.”
To paraphrase Trump:
“When you’re a company, they just let you do it.”
Harris and Trump have very different bases.
If Trump went to New York and shot a black person, his base wouldn’t care whereas if Harris did, the Democrats would be in an uproar.
However, if Trump went to New York and gave people COVID shots, now his base would be fucking furious.
Both candidates are appealing to their base. It’s just the Democratic base is a bunch of sane and rational people.
At least he said Mexican.
And not…you know…something more racist.
Switching licenses to future versions doesn’t invalidate previous versions released under GPL.
I’m not a lawyer but I deal with OSS licenses for work and I don’t know if there’s ever been a case like this, that I can think of anyway.
Their previous versions, still being under the GPL, would require them to release a change to make it usable on desktops. Again, I’m not a lawyer here but there is a lot of case law behind the GPL and I think the user who made the issue could take them to court to force them to make the change if they don’t respond in 30 days.
Iirc, once reported, the project has 30 days to remedy or they are in violation of the license. They can’t even release a new version with a different license since this version is out under the GPL.
This is honestly the only reason to buy a gift card especially at Costco. They often sell gift cards for 20% off their face value.
These are all good points but the biggest reason I HATE gift cards is because they offer ZERO protection.
Buy something with a credit card and you often get double warranty protection included. That something gets damaged or stolen? Also protected.
Gift cards offer none of that. Neither does cash but at least I can use cash to pay off the credit card.
I get that a gift card is more personable and it earmarks the funds for a particular store. If you like gift cards, then cheers and go about your merry way.
I’ve emphatically told my loved ones that I never want a gift card. You want me to use the money somewhere specific? Just say so and I’ll do it.
But don’t give me a script that I can only use in one place and might lose.
Fire can’t go through doors. It’s not a ghost!
I am right handed and actually found it to be much better for my carpel tunnel to mouse with my left.
