To be honest i think it is just number and bell curve. A smaller user base will have less extreme, and strangely more opinions as no critical mass for a general trend to be form. Just my guess and source is trust me bro.

I dont think mastodon would, but i think lemmy kbin would. The target audience is different, one is twitter and the other is reddit like. I dont think twitter user hate fb as much as we do.

In Reddit there usually already a comment saying what I think so I would rather just updot, hence I lurk less and comment more here.
