Too scared to move in this climate, though.
Yatzee videos seem to always have one guy marking his jokes as off-topic when they’re half the reason people watch him.
The off-topic catagory is inherently down to each viewers interpretation, so I just leave it as a manual skip option.

Kingdom Come was made in response to fantasy oversaturation, but it proved they could make a great modern Oblivion.

Mine was first in my PC, then it moved into my wife’s PC, and now it sits happily in a Jellyfin server. That lad has served me thoroughly.

Whenever something starts to drop off, another tech bro idea that requires 10,000 GPUs to process takes its place.

Dasnap@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How is anime and manga more popular than comics and western cartoons?43·11 months agoI personally think that anime and manga having a ‘pipeline’ helps them.
-
A publisher like Weekly Shonen Jump shotguns a load of new series into their comic and sees if any stick.
-
If a series is popular, then their individual volumes sell well, encouraging WSJ to continue publishing.
-
After a while, the popular series will most likely be given an anime (which nowadays tend to be very manga accurate), which tend to export better.
-
If the anime is popular, volume sales increase worldwide, and you have a massive hit.
While this quite effectively creates new popular series, it leads to a massive manga graveyard.
Western comics don’t really have this kind of pipeline and I’m not aware of any WSJ-like publications for new Western projects.

Always interesting to see the remnants of the old empires. Countries like the UK and France still having little splatters of control across the world like the last bits of black mould you can’t reach.
I’m curious, are places like Hawai’i seeing similar movements? I know that area has a bit of an odd history.
I’d argue that isn’t really ‘pilled’ at all, as I’d say ‘pill’ ideology requires some level of caring one way or the other, but I assume someone somewhere has assigned a color.
