I lost all patience with low effort posts. I try to call out anyone asking easily google-able questions or clear karma baiting. It took a couple days of this to realize I needed take a long break from it. I’m debating keeping my account solely to get my karma up a bit more and trying to sell it, not sure yet.

I’ve already seen some, lets say disagreeable people floating around, but the moderators seem to be doing well to take care of it. Nothing is wrong with someone that has an opposing view, but being unnecessarily combative or straight up an asshole is too much.

In a professional sense? Zero technical background. I have a general interest in tech, built a few computers and worked in an electronics section of a store for a few years (almost miss it.) Otherwise I’m the guy who has parents that say I should be in IT just because I know how to set up their TV.

I never served, but worked at an Exchange on a Navy base. Freshly promoted Chief’s wives love to try to make us in the store call them by their husband’s rank or whatever other nonsense they thought they deserved, but guess what? I’m not in the chain of command at all and there’s nothing in the employee handbook that makes me abide by any of that.

Oh, trust me, I don’t feel bad for them at all.
