Difference is, I have to pay for my inputs and training data. I also don’t try to sell my shit to people as though its the most valuable commodity on earth.

They were always “Small government” for regulating corporations and helping people and “Big government” for helping oil companies, weaponizing police, supporting Israel, and helping whichever corporations pay them the most.
The corruption and incompetence gauge is slowly ticking towards a label reading “Russia”.

Given how many history books were written by confederates it seems like history is written by people who can write and have enough time and money to do so.

Going to have to import one from china.

Its also why pricefixing is illegal.

I can feel the shit exploding from this post.

I feel like #3 no longer exists for anything in the US economy. You get one product in each niche either owned by 3 companies whose executives all have lunch together (egg farms, meat, ram manufacturers, etc) or where its just absolutely so black boxed its unclear what the product actually is (windows, google, ai etc)

Ironically that would get enough ragebait to sell the statue

A real self driving car would increase your commute because it would be able to transport children, dogs, sandwiches etc and the overall effect would be a like 30%+ increase in traffic as people buy or rent more self driving trips for people and objects normally not able to rent rides.
The effect would be analogous to “Jevon’s Paradox” where more efficiency increases demand.

Estate taxes need to be 100% over 10 million dollars

It would be so funny if the mayor of new york black bagged netanyahu and handed him over to the icelandic police or interpol.

Here’s the map. I think outside the midwest its mainly republican controlled states that still have the policies.
I think it might be democratic states tend to also have ballot initiatives and those are a major vessel for these kinds of reforms.
So while its maybe not partisan the policies that allow it to get removed are more likely to be partisan.

Or how roads they drive on are built.

I think the point is that republicans have put those laws in place. They may hate them but it certainly undermines the narrative that republicans are going to “save people” from “socialism”.
Also most places that don’t have state liquor stores are places that democrats got into power and dissolved the state liquor store system.
