This is inline with any nation that has nuclear weapons, mainly for deterrence, since the start of the Cold War. Do I like it? No… But it’s the reality of nuclear weapons existing. The same would happen if Russia attacked any other US ally… And the same would happen if the US attacked any Russia ally. This is why, ultimately, someone will fuck up, and start a chain of events that may lead to Human’s extinction. Because any nation that uses nuclear weapons has a very high chance of getting hit by one, immediately after!
