I thought that since they joined an established Union that something would be in place already? Every dishwasher I’ve ever seen has a dedicated place for cutlery. Mine just a cheap plastic one with separators.

Nr. 2 is a no go, the thick butt is annoying af to put in a dishwasher cutlery basket. You need to think about these things.
