Dragons are cool, but god am I sick of them. The worst part is they are either evil and directly attack people or good and completely missing for 90% of the story.

Before I read the whole thing I was about to go on a fanboy rant about Teddy. Im glad I read the post before I did that.
It’s too late for some of the Linux Lemmys. lol
All of them do allow it, but not all of them make it simple. There are times it will change the search in the address bar but not everywhere else in the browser as well. Of the web browsers I use, Firefox is the most friendly to change.
Guidance would also fit well.
The connotation is that Rogan is an idiot who might be a decent guy, but he will say and do anything to prevent his guests from being pissed at him. This includes, but is not limited to, agreeing with some of the most toxic, misogynist, people you probably know.
What a shame.
Mine screams outside the door if I close it.
I’ll have to try to remember to check that. There is a chance I’m going on old info.
Then you’re shitty American ISP throttle you for too many downloads. Fuck I hate Comcast, and no they are not fooling anyone changing their name to Xfinity.
Goblin game matches me best.
I feel like Google really hit their stride with the Pixel 6/7 series. The 7 series especially is just such a nice phone to use and doesn’t feel as cheap as previous iterations of the Pixel. It’s also great value for the money. I went with the Pro and would recommend against it honestly, because while I like the extra camera and the bigger screen it really doesn’t fit great in the average persons hand and the features don’t really justify the cost. If I had to do it over again I would get the 7 or 7a.
I can be your friend as long as you’re not a Nazi. That seems like a pretty low bar.
Which backfires because we typically don’t feel sad and they look like idiots.
To make it worse, I found out not too long ago that the version they made me say wasn’t even the original. “Under God” did not exist in the original version of the pledge.
EDIT: For those that were curious, apparently it was added in 1954 under Dwight Eisenhower.
I immediately heard alarm bells when I read the title. This dude really said 'users need to let Reddit grow up" in response to this dude’s disgusting behavior.
The funny part about this story is that, while everyone has their “price”, most of the people building these instances did so because they want nothing to do with these corporations.
Now admittedly things can change, but these corporations also don’t seem to understand how these insurances work. Buying one instances, while shitty and something that hopefully won’t happen, isn’t the same as buying a company. You can’t “own” the Fediverse because of the nature of what it is.
I’m a refugee and honestly I like it here better than a lot of the Reddit communities so far because people actually seem interested in discussion rather than arguing. Of course that could be just because there are not as many people. Not really sure.
I wouldn’t quite go so far as to say it’s gone “mainstream” since you still have to be moderately nerdy to know about it. I get your point though. This is one of the reasons I am so happy the Steam Deck exists. Before Valve released the Steam Deck nobody wanted to make games for Linux, so Valve said “fuck it, we’ll do it ourselves” and proved it was not only possible, but a better experience overall. While not all games work, having 78-80% of your game library work on Linux, with no Windows OS performance tax, is a great experience. Even with the Proton compatibility layer games generally run faster than on Windows.
