I would like to use IPv6 but google and MS are having a dick waving contest with competing implementations, as I understand it. So fuck it.

Whichever you prefer. There is no correct way.
When they aren’t victimising each other, that is. Don’t forget, the “persecution” the pilgrims were fleeing was not being allowed to persecute each other as hard as they wanted to.
Darn it, you’re right.
Income tax is such a bitch to deal with. I used to support the idea of replacing it with GST/VAT because then I’d not have to deal with it. But then someone pointed out that disproportionately benefits the rich (who mostly just hold wealth rather than spend it) and disadvantages the poor (who cannot avoid paying for things).
So fuck it. Make it all income tax and get rid of the others! :P
(In before this is also a bad idea somehow)
I’m not super into cars, but it’s my understanding Holden was a local manufacturer that got bought out by GM? Or if not that, then they were making specifically Australian vehicles despite being part of GM, much like Ford Australia used to. Both ended up shutting down operations down here, so now we have nothing local.
The list of bullet points sound like they’re describing some nations I know of.
Maybe if they were taxed per use…
(Not a serious suggestion :P)
Why is it so shocking? Has the US car industry meaningfully evolved in the past several decades, pre-Musk Tesla aside? :P
It was an American company doing a teardown of the vehicle that said it was well built.
The article says it works by messaging systemd to run the process as the given user, rather than being a SUID binary. So it wouldn’t work without systemd.
I’m okay with most of this, but don’t want to see this logic universally applied. For example, I think art should be preserved, and that includes games. Consigning years of work from dozens to hundreds of people to the void because the publisher got tired of it absolutely should be considered a monumental failure.
The best part is, unless that function name is misleading, it doesn’t matter how the data is passed; a copy is being sent out over TCP/IP to another device regardless.
Big agree.
4.0 is such a weird choice. Like, does 6.22 contain code they’re still using? Is there a reason they couldn’t even share the latest version of their decades-obsolete OS?
That’s fair, tho the last part is true of animated PNG too. Hell, a lot of them will be all like “upload a short, optionally audioless MP4 and we’ll call it a gif”… :P
Trouble opening images to view them is the only reason I can think of for such widespread hatred of an image format. I don’t know OP’s level of tech savviness so it seemed like a safe guess.
If you hate webp because you can’t easily view it, let me recommend ImageGlass as a replacement image viewer for Windows (maybe Linux too, I forget).
Ah good point, I did write it kinda wrong huh. :)
C#. Or Python if you must. Don’t use Javascript.
