  • I remember when I switched from a Samsung phone to one of the first pixel phones years ago and being so angry that it did not have an option to add the number. I think the only way back then ended up being in the developer options. That phone somehow just ended up getting into a boot loop only like 4 months after getting it and they didnt respect the warranty. It was provided by work so I didnt care that much since no real loss to me, but ill never forget that impression it left on me and ill never get another pixel or google phone ever again.

  • Almost all stores near me are selling them for this same deal. Quickcheck is the one that comes to mind. The funny thing that I found is that the food stores have had almost never ending sales for the cans now marking them at .66 cents a can now. It’s now the only place I will buy them. From my understanding Arizona wants the price to be .99 cents but my theory is since stores are now selling them for higher prices they somehow made deals with grocery stores to sell for less so that it evens out or the hope that people do what i do and just buy them for the cheaper price leaving the higher priced ones to sell less.

  • I don’t get the lines either, but I do think I enjoy it more than you do. Ill have it maybe a few times a year and im always satisfied with what i get, but the price is rough. I enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich with pepperjack and bacon. I will then throw a bunch of the chick fil a sauce on top since your right it is very plain. I almost wonder if they leave it plain just so you can do this yourself. Its a decent sandwich with all of that. We just got our first raising canes by us and i agree the chicken is way better, but i cant do the sandwich just the strips since its literally the same thing with less chicken for a little more money.

Never heard of chicken express before. I had steak and shake like 20 years ago when i was in the south and remember it being good as well. Wish i had that as an option.

I do think the popeyes chicken sandwich is still really good for a fast food sandwich. Its huge, tender, and the mayo somehow adds a lot of flavor. They also have deals sometimes which helps. Shake shack chicken sandwich was by far my favorite, but its so small its kind of insulting for the price asked. Its got some dill mayo spread on it thats really good, i wont even order the burger from them anymore. Again it seems like i go a lot but this is only my experience over the years lol, i get one maybe once every 3 to 4 months from some place.

  • Whats the gameplan here for the future? Im guessing a lot of these companies are going to have to close down when they can’t sell their stock anymore? I would have to imagine most people can no longer afford this or will hopefully choose not to because it was already crazy high. I got a good 5 years before i may need something new and I really hope something collapses and things are forced to go back to what they were.

  • I honestly struggle with this. Don’t forget, property taxes always go up. Since ive been in my house they have increased about 1.5k in 10 years or 12%. I know I can’t live here forever just because of the exponential growth over 10 years and theres no way i can survive this another 10 or 20 years. I also wonder who can even afford this at these prices? I know a lot of states do it differently, but my state is the highest property tax rate in the country. I see some states that are like 1k for the year and my mouth drops as i pay almost 150% more.

  • I love the cops defense going on about how much they help. Like sure there are times they help, but at what cost? And why is there a cost to begin with!? Like come back to us when you strip the middleman out of it who profits off our data which is crazy that that even exists or allowed. Go with a company that does not have access to any data and the only way any of the existing data can be accessed is through proper procedure only and if active cameras have to be looked at then a judge needs to sign off on it first with a limited time of say 4 hours. These should never be monitored by random cops whenever they feel and outside companies should have zero access to anything outside support to fix and setup the devices.

If a medical professional can’t even look at medical data for a patient without proper authorization why is this treated any different? Do better and maybe we won’t be so angry, but until then stop trying to claim the ends justify the means.
