I truly know now that I’ll be one of the last ones to turn into a zombie in a zombie apocalypse because of just how stupid most people are. I have to say this knowing friends and family that have died from this illness.

There are entire floors and even entire buildings sitting vacant in Vancouver because of certain foreign “investment.” They were having real estate conventions where property was being sold in a certain country sight unseen and is now just sitting there doing nothing and rotting. These “investments” were/ are merely vehicles for money laundering to get it out of a certain country. This has been basically known about for years and has been going on for years. A person making a decent wage used to be able to afford a home in Vancouver. Now, everyone is priced out of the market. The Olympics were the worst thing that probably has ever happened to Vancouver and derailed the city. Olympics were basically free advertising for foreign investment that opened the eyes of a certain country to decide to buy up anything and everything because of the lax controls in place and the politicians being cool with the grift.

No. Staying on reddit would be lame.

I use old.reddit.com even on my phone through kiwi/ firefox.

I blocked Twitter completely already I just can’t stand Elon musk. I just hold my long time OG account so he can’t give it away.

I’m hoping a few missing subreddits I was on will come over. I really would do it myself but I’m dealing with a multitude of health and irl issues right now.

I’m adjusting. Work in progress. We don’t really have any choice in the matter. Reddit is just too far past the pale. Migrating myself and others. I now have an official reddit app with revanced and the app is still God awful trash. If I’m on pc, I try to avoid reddit links that come in search and only use old.reddit.com with an adblocker and tracking blocking. I’m even trying to do this setup on mobile if I have to use reddit. Reddit is ultimately dead to me with their current CEO and corporate structure, etc.

Report the scam/ fake reviews. There’s plenty of nonsense 5 star reviews that they are botting/ pushing.

How would a revanced app affect the rating? Would it read differently?

That’s what I did but it’s hard to even justify 2 stars. I’ll give them a slight notch for three content they do have at the moment/ for the interim.

At least I’m running it with revanced and only dir super specific niche subreddits that haven’t transferred over - I’m no longer commenting or providing content.

I gave it a 2 simply for the content that’s already there but a scathing, lengthy review for being a shit app. I actually needed more characters to say everything I had in mind.

Simply put, the app is so shit I can’t believe Google doesn’t take it down and off of the play store. I only have it installed with revanced applied now and for very specific niche health related subs that still haven’t migrated (found a surprisingly active forum for it, so now I don’t even really need reddit).

Mine keeps pushing the firefox community to the top for some reason.
