I think its the cellular part that increases cost the more it is used. Not the gps. The gps has to get off the device somehow. Could easily be free if you got the updates by physically attaching to the device but would make it very much pointless.

Worse getting the card is a major pita with the documentation and photo and having to mail it for first time.

nuance and undertone are pretty hard to convey in text for readers. Of course the writer knows whats in his head but how it will convey in others head is sorta gonna be random and even fluctuate based on a point in time. Someone may get it but at a different time and doing other things so that they are not paying as much mind to the post they are reading and fail to.

Not really for writing yet either. Its an assistant. It can write code sections and comments that then have to be reviewed and edited a bit. Rather than a coder having to go back and forth between a search engine as they write they are more likely to be able to stay in the ide.

Im one of those folks who rarely if ever remember dreams. If I have a great night of sleep it can feel like I did not sleep at all because it was like I had put my head down and then suddenly the alarm is going off and its the next morning. Don’t have to worry to much about that the older I get though.

I sorta am hoping for a resurgence of ai assitance in linux that is like the audio gui and completely local with even ai assist installation the way gui installation became the norm. I would love to talk to my laptop the way folks in star trek talked to the computer but not if it relies on internet services.
