Agreed, but don’t talk about it on lemmy, nobody wants to listen.

Formula 1, but talking about it here really isn’t the same. I want to have a conversation with someone about it, get excited, or upset, with them, the internet just doesn’t do it.
Of course they are, people are still happily paying them. I was talking to my buddy the other day, and he has Netflix, disney+, prime, youtube premium, Paramount, and 1 of the channels prime offers. He’s literally paying more than a premium cable subscription, and doesn’t see a problem with that.
Not really. It often clips out important bits of information, some that can completely change the narrative.
Sure, but you can have genuine discussions about what looks good or bad, or even just different, without simply linking to websites that sell clothes.
Looks like it’s mostly just ads
I know it’s not the same as woke, the word just hits the same level of annoyingness for me.
I’m all for shutting down those who support Russia right now, I just feel like using buzzwords makes it more difficult to take people seriously.
I’m literally logged into an account for porn specifically, and I don’t have this problem. I just selct “hide nsfw” and almost never see anything nsfw on all.
I almost never see this, but I see complaints about “tankies” all the time. I’m not even sure what a tankie is, but it seems about as stupid as the term “woke”.
The people still there are the fucking problem. Maybe if they’d listened to the evacuation order, they wouldn’t be there to see the stuff sitting there, and wouldn’t be frustrated by it. These people need to be charged with theft, and charged for any losses that can be equated to their theft.
This is the first time I’ve ever thought about them.
Thanks China!
If a random dude decides to start hitting on a girl out of nowhere, I’d agree. But this sounds like a scenario that has developed over a period of time, which significantly changes the narrative. I met my gf because she hit on me at work, not all people are the same.
Not if you’re coming from BC it doesn’t.
I would, except the only draw Alberta has is housing prices, there’s literally nothing else. I feel like I’d be happier simply moving north towards the BC interior.
You will regret it if you don’t take your shot. It’s probably best to do it at your work if she’s planning to come there anyway. That would eliminate the issue where she’s trapped by her job, and let you be more comfortable, as it’s your environment.
However, despite everyone’s aversion to it here, it is perfectly ok to ask a girl out at her place of work. Just read the signs, if she’s pulling away, or turning sidways to you, looking around the whole time, just walk away. But if she maintains eye contact (within reason), is smiling, leans in, or makes any attempt at physical contact, then you’re good to go. It’s possible she’ll still say no but you won’t be doing anything wrong by asking.
Everyone here seems to be suffering from a case of terminally online syndrome.
Not my job to subsidize their wage either. The more people are willing to tip, the less likely wages will be raised.
The one’s around me tried doing the counting thing for a bit. 2 of them are now closed, and the other one’s let you put whatever toppings you want now. We didn’t put up with that shit, and it changed.
Also, who tf tips at subway?
You want to be a freak?
I think you need to learn more about how memory works. Unless you actually have a photographic memory (which is incredibly rare), you do not remember everything perfectly.
A lot people have difficulty accepting this though, so you’re not alone.
