Despite Labour dropping their 28bn green investment pledge

Maybe Harper was keener to keep his seat than his green pledge?
It’s another attack on families on the margins of society. I am sure Kier will abstain from doing anything.
Batman, tries to solve the cities problems by getting himself a load of expensive toys.
Or the police weren’t wearing their uniforms???
Mum: we’re definitely going the wrong way
Me: how do you know?
Mum: because we need to go south and we are currently going north
Me: how do you know we are going north?
Mum: because the sun sets in the west
Me: oh…
It shows a laziness and a lack of interest in the skill of driving! I bought my first automatic last year. I generally like it, with auto hold and cruise control it makes driving very easy. I don’t like it on ice and snow, no idea what the car is doing. Similarly pulling away quickly, never quite now which gear it’s going to choose when or when the turbo is going to kick in which can make things a bit unpredictable.
Nah I think they just got a judge who gives a shit about humanity…
The Section of the Public Order Act 1986 lays out rules for how police can control “public assemblies” – defined as a gathering of two or more people in a public place.
Police officers can issue them if they “reasonably believe” that the protest “may result in serious public disorder, serious damage to property or serious disruption to the life of the community”.
It can also do so if it belives the purpose of the organisers is to “intimidate others”.
What surprised me was this is the older legislation. I thought they would use the newer anti protest legislation which even legislates against a protest being too noisy.
They will be bad less often…So an improvement in quality, no?
Starmer is owned by the Israeli government.
Depends on the topping, fish no, margarita yes. Chicken - check your access to a toilet for the day.
Yup that’s right…
“The leader of the UK’s opposition Labour Party, Keir Starmer, on Wednesday declared his backing for what he described as Israel’s “right” to totally cut power and water supplies to Palestinians in Gaza.”
It appears anything labour or conservatives say has to be agreed by the Israeli government.
Nope, Labour is now funded by all the same people as the Tories. We will see a bit of Tory-lite but things will generally carry on in the same direction
Yeah people should have regular retests. Rules and best practices change over time as well.
Most people shouldn’t drive. The idea that a large portion of the population gets up and drives at the beginning and end of the day when they are most tired and the roads are busiest is pretty crazy. If only there was some sort of mass transportation system???
Firstly know you are not alone, lots of people feel like this. I suggest a hobby which includes exercise and meeting people. Exercise releases endorphins and generally energises you. Meeting people helps bring you out of yourself and focus on something else. I do gym classes as it means I am around people but don’t have to interact too much. It’s the same people so I say hi and maybe chit chat a little. A gym buddy is good if you can find one, we never liked to bail on each other so used to go quite regularly. Swimming always makes me happy and my cat! (She likes to paddle but not really what I meant!)
These workers are highly experienced professionals in critical industries and have been chronically underpaid for over a decade(s). Many have risked their lives and health and that of their families during the pandemic. Bringing in agency staff will not solve the labour issue in these areas but make it much worse. Already we have lost so many dedicated professionals in these areas the services are on their knees. As a society we need these services to keep us healthy, safe and educate our next generation. As one of the richest countries in the world we can afford it if we want to and we will be much poorer in all ways if we don’t.
I suppose no one else will be able to monetise it because all revenue will go straight to Reddit
Thank you for your work. Sorry this has ended for you so badly. I hope this, no doubt difficult, decision makes life better for you.
Bought his candidacy with £100000 then betted against himself. Should have abstained, that’s tfe Labour way!
