Awesome! If I can ever afford a card with frame generation, that is. Looking increasingly unlikely though.

He woke up today, saw the election results and was like “Nope, ain’t worth it no mo” and promptly shuffled off his mortal coil.
Honestly, can’t blame him. Take me with you!
And poured quickdry cement on it to make sure.
This is one genie that’s never going back into the bottle again. May our descendants, provided any live, have mercy on our memory.
Something tells me this day will eventually live in greater infamy than 9/11.
Like in 2230, provided there is still something resembling the human race, “9/11” will be just another boring date to memorize together with shit like the Alamo w/e.
The day the republic fell, however, will be a lot more recognizable and memorable.
248 years. Empires “always” last around ~250 (Let’s ignore the Romans for now) so we’re exactly on time.
Wanna bet he’ll put up one of his kids (hell perhaps even Barron?) and bend the whole sycophantic side of the GOP into endlesdly propping them up?
In 4 years, you may simply get Trump III. I want to say this notion seems absurd, except that it absolutely isn’t.
Let me put it this way: we will see the true beginning of WW3 in the Baltics. Trump will predictably not act upon that and the response will be 100% up to Europe itself.
That response better be an armed one, and quick too, or we all better start practicing cyrillic here in W-europe.
Regardless if we are lucky, “only” tens of thousands will die. More likely it will be millions.
So yeah, Trump kinda bedazzled us there, no way around it. Won’t be until the people who voted him in will start hurting personally that they’ll finally realize they’ve been conned. But too little too late.
I’ve accepted for a while now that “this is it”. Despite all our meming about our retirement being dying in the coming water wars… reality won’t be that far off.
As someone who always struggled to find reasons to live, I sure as hell can’t see any now. This world is a literal hell unless you’re rich. In that case it’s your little playground and we the npc’s who populate it.
I think I’d much rather save myself the trouble and suffering.
That would’ve been a gunfight. Here in Europe we practice melee only.
Hahaha. No. In 13 years those prices will have quintupled, but I’m willing to bet your income won’t.
Anyone who cannot afford a modest home today, will simply never be able to unless they inherit, win a lottery or land a ridiculously well paying job.
Saving up 5 years for a down payment? The price goes up faster than you can save. You could live like a hermit and eat nothing but ramen and still need years upon years only to even be considered for a loan.
No, people need to understand what has been stolen from them and rise up against it. Keeping the current system afloat will never bring any change, and what do they have to lose?
Call me a hippy but I’ve always had a problem with the very concept of a judge. As in, someone who gets paid (royally!) just to, well judge people. As we all know the law is anything but impartial, so my take was always that, say, the “wrong” type of people gravitate towards these posts. Keep this up for a few decades and you have a thorougly corrupt legal system (not remotely resembling a “justice” system).
It’s not as if I have any workable alternatives, but still the very concept feels wrong to me somehow.
The animals featured heavily on social media, so it could literally have been anyone. I agree with the sentiment though. Some person had to be the one to insert the needle and inject the poison, knowing full well the animals would test negative. I don’t know how someone like that can sleep at night, but if there’s anything I’ve learned these past few years it’s that human pettiness truly has no limits.
The mark of the beast was fiat money and we’ve been using it for a while.
There’s no better way to stifle a discussion than to see there’s 10k+ replies already. Pissing in an ocean of piss.
An advanced finglonger.
They wouldn’t exactly admit a source and compromise further operations. They probably had at least an idea of where he might be.
I wouldn’t bother. People who arrive at any opinion without using logic can’t be reasoned out of that opinion using logic. It’s an emotional thing.
This has /b/ written all over it. Or it would have, back in the days.
Orwell wrote that book based on his personal observations from how the government already worked decades prior. All he did was 1+1=2 and he was visionary because of it. Same with Marx. Or Verne.
There’s a reason dystopian fiction has reigned supreme for over a decade now. We’re obsessed with our inevitable fate.
We’re already seeing games coming out which have a soft requirement for DLLS or FSR simply due to how incredibly unoptimized they are.
