If they would add the ability to limit comments based on something like account age, or upvotes etc, it would be awesome.
Unfortunately the Lemmy dev team hasn’t made that option quite yet, would be an awesome feature to request though!

We welcome the feedback.
This user however, reminds me of another user that was posting questions that they felt were revolutionary, but were not legitimate questions. Looking through their comments and posts, I believe this is the same user under another account.
The post that was removed (by me) that they are upset about is:
1000 years from now physics is forgotten and all that remains is the legend of two hobbits, Charm and Spin, and their quest for the Higgyboson. At this point, is physics true?
Hey OP, how can I help? We are here for you
I didn’t avoid your point, I actually answered it: rules are rules and exist for a reason, if you break a communities rules they will remove your post or comment.
To put it more simply for you, no, it is not immoral - especially when you look at the context of your question.
Just to be transparent, I’m the mod who removed your posts.
We get a lot of rule breaking posts between the multiple communities I moderate, some of them get upvoted heavily and still get removed.
For example, someone posted a scientific post that had nothing to do with technology in /c/Technology@lemmy.world, it had a decent amount of upvotes and comments. It was still removed for rule 2 of that community, as it was off topic for that community and there are ones that exists for that content.
Sorry that it upset you, but if I could give you advise: just follow the community rules and you won’t have these issues
Sorry, too many arguments.
Heyo! Please reformat your title to follow rule #1
Thanks
Oh gotcha, it is unfortunate non-mods/non-admins are not able to see in the mod logs for who is doing what on LW. If you were able to though, you would see Enu and myself are very active, even though we are not commenting or posting. Same for report resolutions, we get a good amount of reports (false and positive) that we have to weed through throughout the day, those are not publicly viewable (and shouldn’t be).
But that is what I did not get, in the mod logs you can see the community is being actively moderated even though you can’t see who is doing what.
Edit:
enu is the only inactive mod I found.
Also, I’d like to apologize for misreading the above. Initially I thought this said “is the only active mod”. Enu has multiple accounts, which would make sense on why you’d think they’re inactive
Hey @breadsmasher@lemmy.world, not sure which spam you are referring to, but I am one of the mods of !technology@lemmy.world and we do our best to remove any spam we see or that is reported.
That being said, there have been times when articles get posted that people report as “spam” that we do not deem to be. If you could provide an example of one we have not removed, I will review it with the other mod and figure out why we did not remove the post/comment - but typically this happens because of the above.
Not sure where this confusion came from, but that is not true, I am also an active mod there.
You have to find an instance that allows signing up, then you can create an account there

Heyo @sorebuttfromsitting@sopuli.xyz, could you adjust your title to be a question, this is required per rule# 1
Such as the most populated, most active, or most secluded if that’s what you like. It’s a good thing OP, we are not locked down to one community in the event that one goes crazy.
Haven’t looked back in over a month
Yeah, I decided to go to the link on a dummy machine I have, definitely a scam.
Not sure how this goes against my theory?
One of those scenarios + poop shy around S/O, S/O family, or friends is my guess.
Edit: also, cheese, lots of cheese.
Edit2: is this the new “found a safe”?
I’m not a Mlem user, but are you all worried about how much David contributed, and keeping up with it all? The UI looks the best out of all of the apps I’ve tested (Android user ;[), and seems to be more feature rich.
Just like I told you on your other account, I don’t believe you understand how communities work.
Each community has rules, you have to follow those rules, otherwise your posts or comments will be removed.
Locking this post since I do not believe it is genuine, and is the same thing you did on your other account.
