I’ve been eating a lot of instant ramen lately and finally decided to get a pair of chopsticks and learn how to use them. I was using a fork before. The difference is incredible.

This is happening with non-luxury brands too. I was looking for a simple sports t-shirt lately and it’s actually really hard to find one without a huge brand logo at the front. Do people actually like this?

I check the metadata my cameras record every now and then. It’s not particularly useful. For screenshots I’ll make sure to not have any names or usernames visible. You can assume every outdoors photo is geolocatable so you can choose what you want to reveal. I’m ok posting a photo from the city center but not from my neighborhood.

True, it’s just an example to always look at the output. I’ve definitely used that in Fedora to reinstall packages when something stopped working after an upgrade.

(Maybe this doesn’t happen by itself in Debian but I wouldn’t trust Ubuntu for example)

Apparently apt has a stroke sometimes. I don’t think I’ve had an update fuck up this bad but it’s better to read the output so you know what changed in case something stops working.

• Spotify: yes, you can download and set up your own music but spotify has a bunch of integrations that just work without any effort. I’m also using a student subscription (that will probably keep working forever) so it’s not very expensive.
• Mobile contract: mobile data is expensive compared to other countries but at least my current ISP has coverage everywhere. Too bad everything else about the company sucks.

In English even when I’m the only person working on the project as there’s always the prospect of someone else looking at it. Also my language doesn’t use the latin script and I don’t want to mix other scripts into code files. You can always write it in latin script but that’s really annoying to read. Side comment, I don’t get how the US deals with porch pirates. Here someone needs to be at home and sign to receive the delivery because literally leave a brick outside and it will have been picked up by someone within the next couple of hours.

Sorry yes this assumes you live in a place where you can walk to something like a post office or a supermarket. Rural US may not have this but that’s already kind of a problem. You don’t have to go every day though. You can just get a notification when your delivery is actually there. This is already done in some places by companies but in a smaller scale where the available boxes are very limited and only for smaller items. With special cases I meant people who have trouble leaving the house for whatever reason.

This is very close to your mail example but can we please move on from delivering items directly to houses? Just give me a destribution center or box at a 10-15 min walking distance and I’ll gladly pick up everything from there when it’s actually convenient. We can still keep the other model for special cases.

Depends what it’s based on. It should have a similar runtime. So short story -> movie, book -> mini series. If it’s like a series of 5 books I guess it can be a full TV show.

There’s another question though. Would your mind get into all this trouble if you didn’t know there would be questions coming?
